1. Wet immersion in water
Due to the improper use of the plastic floor, the faucet or heating in the kitchen or toilet will run off the water, so that the plastic floor will be soaked in water for too long, and the plastic floor glue will be emulsified and deteriorated, so the glue will not play its due role and can only be arched. Continuous rainy weather, high relative air humidity, no dehumidification measures were taken. The moisture in the air is absorbed by the rubber floor and hygroscopically expands. The house has been vacant for a long time, uninhabited and poorly ventilated. After the moisture in the plaster layer evaporates, it has nowhere to be released, and is absorbed by the rubber floor, which then expands due to moisture absorption. The moisture content of the base concrete is too high, the moisture-proof isolation layer is not sealed, and it absorbs moisture and expands.
2. Expansion joints
No expansion joints or too narrow. When laying a rubber floor, a gap of 2 cm should be left as an expansion joint and then covered with skirting. In order to clean, some owners did not reserve expansion joints between adjacent joints as required when laying the rubber floor, or asked the laying workers to make the joints as thin as possible, which would also make the rubber floor unable to expand and contract, and it would absorb moisture and expand when exposed to humid air. . It arches easily and even warps the edges to the point of cracking.
3. Improper drying time
Different types of glue, different materials, different floors and different construction environments, the drying time of glue is absolutely different. At this point, an experienced professional craftsman is required to make a straightforward judgment. If the drying time is too short, dense small bumps will appear immediately after the rubber floor is laid; if the drying time is too long, the adhesive force of the glue will be reduced, and the phenomenon of bulging will also appear.
4. Improper exhaust
After the rubber floor is pasted, the cork blocks are compacted in a horizontal order, and all the air under the floor is exhausted in time, and then the iron rollers over 50 kg are used to roll horizontally and then vertically. If there is air trapped under the floor, the stickiness of the perineal partition glue can cause the floor to bulge as the temperature changes.
5. Welding too early
After the rubber floor is installed, it is generally required to be welded after 24 hours. If soldering is premature, the glue has not yet fully cured at this point. The instantaneous high temperature of the welding torch will destroy the bonding force of the glue at the joint. At the beginning of the weak link, there will be an upward arching of the floor at the weld.
6. There is a foreign body at the base
During the installation process, if there are foreign objects left under the floor, if the rubber floor is not cleaned in time before installing the rubber floor, it will also cause the floor to arch.
7. The base is arched
If there is a solid wood floor on the original floor before installing the rubber floor, after the floor is installed, the original floor will bulge due to moisture, which will also cause the rubber floor to arch.
